JOBST® Gradient Compression Seamless Anti-Embolism Elastic Stockings were designed with leading vascular specialists to combat thromboembolism. The stockings utilize graduated compression to apply the greatest amount of pressure at the ankle and gradually lessen up the length of the leg. This compression improves circulation by helping the veins move blood back up to the heart. The use of JOBST® Anti-Embolism Elastic Stocking is an accepted prophylaxis for minimizing the risk of thromboembolism in hospitalized patients requiring bed rest or prolonged periods of immobilization. The thigh high style offers added coverage and the soft, breathable fabric provides better comfort.
